Pastor Harvey J. Gibson, Jr.
Proverbs 22: 6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
At an early age Pastor Harvey J. Gibson, Jr. was introduced to God by his paternal grandmother; the late, Rev. Mother Lexie Gibson who was Founder and Pastor of the Church of the Lord Jesus, House of Prayer known today as Lord Jesus Love Temple, Church of Christ Written In Heaven. During his childhood he continued to receive spiritual nurturing from the late Bishop Prophet Clarence Pryor and late Mother Doris Pryor, his uncle and aunt.
God definitely had a plan by allowing these individuals to impart their spiritual wisdom into the life of Pastor Harvey J. Gibson, Jr. As a child, Pastor Harvey Gibson has had the experience of witnessing the awesome power of God through manifestation (anointing) in many men and women of God.
After experiencing the world and going through drugs, broken promises, shattered dreams, and failed relationships, Pastor Gibson returned to the church and joined Lord Jesus Love Temple in 1994 seeking God to mend the many years of frustration in his life. In 1995 Pastor Harvey Gibson accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Shortly afterwards God blessed Pastor Gibson with the gift of the Holy Ghost.
While at Lord Jesus Love Temple Pastor Harvey Gibson was spiritually mentored by the late Dr. Nancy A. Spearman, who became his spiritual mother. God blessed Pastor Gibson to meet Deacon Clinton Balom who would become another mentor and spiritual father. Pastor Gibson has served as Asst. Secretary, Male Choir, Trustee and LJLT Deacon Board until God called him to the ministry in 1999.
In 2005 Pastor Harvey Gibson was ordained Elder by Bishop Willie J. Jones of the New Holy Cross Church of Christ Written In Heaven. After being ordained Pastor Gibson served as Youth Sunday School teacher.
He is the husband of Pastor Angela S. Gibson, father of 3 children, Grandfather of 4. Pastor Gibson is focused on kingdom building for Christ and seeing the same manifestations of Christ in his youth be more prevalent in this day and hour!
