Pastor Angela S. Gibson
Pastor Angela S. Gibson was born and raised in Ewing, N.J. by her late Grandmother, Anna Mae Allen and her late Mother, Eleanor Vaughan. Pastor Gibson is the baby of nine children and learned very quickly that you have to fight to receive AND keep those things that belong to you. Pastor Gibson realizes that the reason she is who & what she is today is because of the women who poured into her life; they REFUSED to let her fail.
She was raised in St. John’s Baptist Church, Ewing, N.J. where she was taught the foundation of Christianity from awesome teachers in the Gospel such as Rev. Roy I. Austin, Rev. Leo H. Graham & Rev. Vincent H. Jackson. While growing up, she experimented with many things outside of the church and after going through many trials which led her to cocaine & marijuana addiction, failed relationships and depression, she discovered that Jesus is what she needed all along. "Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
In 1985 she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and received the gift of the Holy Ghost. With the support of her mother, she returned to St. John's Baptist Church where she worked diligently in whatever her hands could find to do. While at St. John's, she founded The Jackson Ensemble, which is a group that supported Pastor Vincent H. Jackson on his preaching engagements. The group traveled all over New Jersey and is still in existance at St. John's Baptist Church today.
In 1987, she joined Lord Jesus Love Temple where she was mentored by her Spiritual Mother; the late Dr. Nancy A. Spearman. She served as the Youth President of Love Temple Church where her gift of play writing and her love for young people have blessed many. Two plays written by Pastor Gibson are “God can Turn it around” and “I Have a Dream”. She served as Church Administrator, Youth President and sang in various choirs in the church. In 2001 she was ordained Elder by Bishop Willie J. Jones & the Church of Christ Written in Heaven.
After the loss of her birth Mother and friend Eleanor M. Vaughan on April 1, 2007, her eldest brother, Thomas Walker on April 18, 2007 and her spiritual Mother and Pastor, Dr. Nancy A. Spearman on July 5, 2007, Pastor Gibson has become more determined than ever to carry out the assignment that God has placed in her hands. Through that period of time, the devil tried to rob her of vision & purpose, steal the gifts that God gave her and literally rip her soul apart. The devil meant it for bad, but God meant it for good!

She is the mother of 3 Children, a Grandmother of 6 grandsons and the wife of Pastor Harvey J. Gibson, Jr.

Pastor Angela is currently a student at Thomas Edison State College studying for her BS in Business Management.
